Bed Bugs are small, flat insects that is reddish brown in color and oval in appearance. These bed bugs measure four to five millimeters in length when they have grown to maturity. Aside from the common myth, these bed bugs can be seen with the naked eye.

Being nocturnal bed bugs creatures, bed bugs come out of their hiding places at night to feed on their host. After piercing the person’s skin with two, long feeding tubes, it injects an anesthetic and anticoagulants which are found in the saliva. This is what causes a reaction when the bite is later felt. After feeding for around five minutes, the bed bugs then returns to its hiding place.
